We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Temporary Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team! This is a hybrid position with candidates being required to work onsite 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced and expert-level account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Perform bank reconciliation activities to maintain precise financial records.
Utilize Sage software to manage accounting tasks efficiently.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide support in the preparation of financial statements.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant with advanced/expert-level skills.
Experience in the education industry is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using Sage accounting software.
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Effective communication skills to interact with team members and other departments.
CPA certification is a plus.
